Star-studded cast will make you shiver with anticipation
A STAR-STUDDED production of the Rocky Horror Show is coming to the Leicester Curve in July.
The cast includes talent show contestants Diana Vickers and Liam Tamne and S Club 7’s Paul Cattermole.
West End performers Richard Meek and Kristian Lavercombe, who has played Riff Raff more than 900 times during the 40th Anniversary global tour of the Rocky Horror Show, are also involved.
Steve Punt of Punt and Dennis and Norman Pace of Hale and Pace will be sharing the role of narrator.
Diana said: “I’m really enjoying playing Janet, and I’m excited that I will get the opportunity to extend my time in Rocky as we continue to tour the UK. There’s definitely no show like The Rocky Horror Show, no other musical like it, and I’m delighted to continue my run.”
A West End mainstay for more than 40 years, it tells the story of Brad and his fiancée Janet, who meet Dr Frank N Furter by chance when their car breaks down outside his house. An adventure they’ll never forget ensues when they meet the doctor’s creation, Rocky Horror.
Directed by Christopher Luscomber, it is a sci-fi, musical and at times rude production, that encourages audience participation and, of course, getting dressed in your most outrageous fancy dress and singing along.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show will be at the Leicester Curve between Monday July 4 and Monday July 11 and tickets are available by calling 0116 242 3595 or visiting www. curveonline.co.uk/whats-on/ shows/the-rocky-horror-show
