Jodie’s TV date with DJ

-

JODIE Carnall has bagged herself a hot date with Capital FM presenter Roman Kemp on a celebrity special version of Take Me Out.

The Hinckley model starred on the ITV dating show for the second time on New Year’s Eve.

She caught the eye of the national radio presenter and Xtra Factor host and the pair were whisked off to the Isle of Fernandos for a romantic getaway.

The bubbly duo, dubbed Joman, bonded over a game of mini golf before relaxing in a cocktail bar.

Jodie, 24, said the date was “absolutely brilliant” and she hopes to meet up again with the 23-year-old American-born Londoner.

She said: “Roman came down the ‘love lift’ with such swagger and confidence to one of my favourite songs, Hotline Bling.

“I immediately fancied him, he had such good banter with all the girls and he’s hilarious - we immediately clicked.

“The last time I appeared on the show I was immediately separat- ed from Tom so it was a bit awkward when we met again on camera. But this time I spent some time with Roman before the TV date and we had an absolutely brilliant time.

“He told me he picked me for my personality which is a real confidence boost. I’ve not had much luck with guys in the past because they think I’m too loud and annoying, so for someone to genuinely like me for who I am was just amazing.”

On the show, Roman admitted he hasn’t had much luck with the ladies, despite meeting lots of famous girls through his profession.

He said he is “useless” at working out whether girls like him or not and wished he could meet someone transparent.

And it appears his dreams may be answered with Jodie.

He told the camera: “Jodie is a really sweet girl, she’s very pretty. really funny and I keep laughing which is a very good sign.

“She is amazingly confident and knows herself very well which is such an attractive quality.

“I think a lot of guys are intimidated by Jodie, but I love it, it’s exactly what I wanted to find in someone.”

He agreed to meet up with Jodie again, but said it might be too early for romantic nicknames such as Joman or Roadie.
