Amina helps mums get fit around kids

-

AN INSPIRATIONAL mum and fitness trainer from Broughton Astley has launched a website to help fellow mothers get fit around their kids.

31-year-old Amina Ward launched her online fitness programme for women looking to get back into fitness after having a child.

The young mum, originally from Australia, launched the Be Better Fitness service while on maternity leave with her baby, Matilda, who is now one.

Amina said: “I am a mum, fit- ness instructor and on a downright mission to get people exercising regularly.

“A year ago, we were blessed with our beautiful little lady, Matilda. Whilst on maternity leave, I developed a programme for women who were trying to get back into fitness after having baby.

“I could relate to the struggles they faced getting to a gym, finding childcare and of course having the motivation and confidence to train.

“I made it easy, I developed a program that allowed them to bring their baby with them, even using their baby in a workout if needed.”

Amina, who also runs bootcamp-style training sessions, said that the workouts and programme quickly proved popular with new mums.

The next session will be on April 14 at 9.30am at Eat Lean in Market Place, with information on nutrition also available.

She added: “All of a sudden, more and more people were getting in contact, both men and women alike.

“I now have a vision and mis- sion to assist people to remove the barriers that they are faced with when it comes to exercise and nutrition. We have torn down these barriers on our online members portal.

“No time after work? We have a workout for that! Your baby needs to be held? We have you sorted.

“No matter what your lifestyle you will find a workout, a recipe, a nutrition plan or just 24/7 support.”
