NEW Leicester bar The Head of Steam has today revealed its opening date - and we’ve not got long to wait! The Market Street bar will launch on Thursday, April 5 - and there’s still jobs available. Front of house, bar and kitchen roles still need to be filled at the new bar, which will replace the former Reynard pub. The Head of Steam will champion local breweries as part of its offering - including Brewsters, Charnwood and Framework and Langton. There will also be a choice of craft ale, real ale, cider and beers from around the world. Set across two floors, the 3,509 square foot venue will offer a main bar, a VIP floor that can be reserved for special functions, and a beer garden with seating for 30 people. The Head of Steam is owned by Hartlepool-based Camerons Brewery, and will offer customers the chance to choose from more than 120 different brews which they can enjoy in a welcoming space designed with a modern twist.
