A CAT lover is offering a £1,000 reward for the return of her three cats which all went missing at around the same time.

Anna Franklin from Earl Shilton is desperate for her three cats Jack, Milo and Dylan to come home. They disappeared from her home in High Tor West, Earl Shilton over a three day period in mid November.

As she went around the area leafletting and putting up posters she met other cat owners who told her about three other pet cats which had gone missing about the same time.

Ann has reported the disappearance of her cats to Leicestershire Police. She has also asked local animal rescue centres if her cats have been handed in.

She said: “All three of my cats went missing over a period of three days. Three others are missing in the same small area of the Tors and the bottom end of Keats Lane, which are surrounded by fields and allotments. From going around leaflet- ing and putting up posters, I have met other pet owners who are worried that something nefarious is going on.

“It could all be coincidence, of course, but it seems very strange that six cats from such a small area would go missing around the same time.”

Jack has long hair and is black with grey patches under his arms and legs. He is microchipped, neutered and was wearing a blue collar with a bell on it. Milo is black, long haired and neutered. He was wearing a yellow fabric collar with a small round bell on it.

Dylan is a mainly white with the grey and black on the top of his head, back and legs. He is not neutered because he has a heart condition and the operation was considered unsafe.

Anna adopted the three cats as kittens from an animal shelter.

Anna is offering the reward for the return of the cats or information leading to their return.

Anyone who finds Anna’s cats can contact her on Facebook or by emailing raginohart@aol.com.
