Santa fun runs for LOROS

Hinckley Times - - NEWS -

HUNDREDS of people dressed as Santa will be taking part in a fun run to raise money for the Loros Hospice.

Organised by local Rotary Clubs, the fun runs will be taking place at three locations across the county.

There will be two events on Sunday December 2 in both Loughborough and Lutterworth and the final event in Melton Mowbray on Sunday December 9.

The runs are for all the family and can be walked or ran, with some people even bringing their furry four-legged friends to join in on the festivities.

The event will also have competitions such as Best Dressed Festive Pooch where prizes will be awarded to winners.

Fundraising coordinator, Debbie Dickman, said: These events are a fantastic way of bringing the community together during the festive season, while raising vital funds for the Hospice.

“Kit yourself out with the beard, belt and suit, take on the 5k and then treat yourself to a well-deserved mince pie at the end!”
