Member of staff hospitalised as raiders leave empty handed Police appeal after three men raid village store
POLICE investigating a robbery in Kirby Muxloe want to talk to the people pictured right.
Three men barged their way into the store in Main Street as staff were opening up the premises at around 5.45am on December 9.
A smoke cloak was activated in the premises and the members of staff were ordered to put the shutters down.
One of the suspects then punched one of the staff members before grabbing the other employee and taking her to the back of the shop.
The three suspects then ran out of the shop leaving empty-handed.
They are believed to have left in a blue car heading in the direction of the A47.
One of the members of staff required hospital treatment following the incident.
His injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing and he has since been discharged.
Detective Constable Steve Winterton said: “This was a serious offence which left employees terrified.
“We are appealing to anyone who recognises the people in the CCTV image to make contact with us as we believe they can help us with our enquiries.
“Anyone who has any other information regarding the incident is also urged to get in touch.”
