Drone follows lone woman

COMPLAINTS about drones flying near houses were raised by residents of Cadeby.

Villagers said they saw a black drone being flown near houses with some seeing a drone while walking their dog.

Market Bosworth Police said in a post on its Facebook page: “On one occasion it followed a lone female for some time which was very unnerving and upsetting for her.

“If anyone knows anything about this or the person who maybe involved please let us know.”

The force asked that any direct messages to them about the incidents be sent in confidence as by outing someone it makes it difficult for them to know if the information is genuine.

It also said: “Please also be aware when commenting about the use of firearms, what you may think as a witty comment may jeopardise your firearms licence.”
