Reminder to clean up mess

WITH dark nights fully upon us, Broughton Astley Parish council is reminding residents to clean up the mess of their dogs to avoid a hefty £1,000 fine.

The parish council has received an increase in complaints from residents regarding dog mess around the village.

They want to remind residents that dog ownership is a personal choice and to allow a dog to foul in a public place and nto clear it up is anti-social and illegal.

Failing to pick up your dog’s mess can result in a fine of up to £1,000.

The Parish council provide numerous dog waste bins around the village and free dog waste bags are provided for Broughton Astley residents which are available from the Parish office.
