AN INDUSTRIAL unit sustained smoke damage after a fire in Kirby Muxloe.

The fire at a business on Ratby Lane involved an electrical cabinet and caused light smoke logging to the rest of the building.

A three-storey industrial premises used for packaging

It is thought the fire broke out owing to an electrical fault.

Fire crews from Western and Southern fire stations put out the blaze.

The fire was on January 2 at around 6.30am.
