Po­lice ap­peal af­ter in­ci­dent

PO­LICE have re­leased an e-fit im­age of a man they want to speak to af­ter a rob­bery in Broughton Ast­ley.

A woman ar­rived at an ad­dress in Spring­field Close, Broughton Ast­ley, when she was ap­proached by a man who de­manded cash.

The man then grabbed hold of the vic­tim be­fore leav­ing the scene when he re­alised she did not have any cash.

The vic­tim suf­fered a mi­nor in­jury which re­quired med­i­cal treat­ment fol­low­ing the in­ci­dent which hap­pened at around 1.15am on Oc­to­ber 29.

De­tec­tive Con­sta­ble Stephanie Burn­ham said: “We have been car­ry­ing out full en­quiries into this in­ci­dent and are now re­leas­ing this im­age as part of these on­go­ing en­quiries.

“If you recog­nise the per­son de­scribed in the e-fit im­age please make con­tact as we be­lieve this per­son could help us with our en­quiries.

“Any­one with any other in­for­ma­tion re­gard­ing the in­ci­dent who has not yet made con­tact with us should also get in touch.”
