Road closures

A ROAD is to close for a day in Barwell.

King Street is to shut from the junction with Shilton Road to before George Street while Leicestershire County Council completes patching works.

An alternative route will be available via Arthur Street, Kirkby Road and Stapleton Lane.

The closure will be in place on Wednesday January 16.

A road is to close in Hinckley for two nights.

Rugby Road is to shut from the roundabout junction with Brookfield Road to its junction with Westfield Road/Hawley Road while Amey carries out a safety examination of the railway bridge.

A diversion route will be available via Hawley Road, Station Road onto the B590, London Road onto the B4669, Brookside and Rugby Road.

The closure will be in palce from January 14 from 10pm to 6am.
