Press intrusion is revolting
THE renewed intrusion of our worst “newspapers” into the background and past secrets of the latest recruit to the royal family is truly revolting. Anyone who buys such garbage is as bad. Have they forgotten what damage these “newspapers” did to the reputation of Diana - for whom they later, no doubt, cried floods of crocodile tears?
Do they lead such banal and meaningless lives that their only gratification is to stick their noses into what should be private business? How would they like their personal matters splashed across front pages? Have they no shame or self-respect? Such muck-raking scandal-sheets deserve to be boycotted and hit where it hurts most - their income from readers and advertisers. Not holding my breath though... John Payne
