Dead foal found abandoned
A FOAL died after it was abandoned in Ratby.
Market Bosworth Police found two of the stray animals on the evening of December 27.
The force posted about the incident on its Facebook page.
It said: “Unfortunately, called to two abandoned foals in Ratby.
“One foal has died and the other has been put safely away in a makeshift field thanks to local residents who found them.
“Luckily CCTV has captured a vehicle believed to be in connection with the incident and further inves- tigations will be undertaken by the RSPCA.
“If you believe animals are being mistreated you can contact the RSPCA (England & Wales) via their website.”
