Disco and talent show to be held at social club
AN event featuring a disco and talent show is being held at Sapcote Social Club to raise money for two mental health charities.
The fundraising event will be held on Saturday January 19 and will host a disco, a performance by an award-winning rapper, a talent show featuring local acts, a raffle and mental health talks.
The talent show will feature eight different acts from singing to dancing, as well as being judged by Fosse Radio presenter Mark Rowley among three other big names.
More than 30 prizes are available to be won in the raffle which have all been donated by local businesses.
There will also be a stands providing mental health information from the two charities; MIND and Mental Health, as well as a talk from a spokesperson at Mind Midlands Warehouse.
Food and craft stalls will also be available and a disco and karaoke will see the evening of fundraising come to an end.
Entry to the event costs £6 and is strictly wristband entry only as a seating plan will be in place.
