Vine has been serving upteaand books since 2001
THE week beginning 5th October national Christian Bookshop Week.
This is a campaign organised by the Booksellers Association and ties in with Independent Bookshop Day.
Hinckley has its very own Christian bookshop that is also an independent, in the form of The Vine on The Borough (tucked between the United Reformed Church and the Shoe Repair shop). The Vine has been serving customers since 2001 and is both a bookshop and coffee shop, serving is great value drinks, snacks and lunches.
In this age of on-line retail there are many reasons to support “bricks and mortar” shops such as being able to browse properly rather than virtually and supporting the local community and economy. Many Christian bookshops in the wider area have closed in recent years so it is more important than ever for the Christian community to use and support their local Christian bookshop to ensure its survival
(especially post-lockdown).

For Christian Bookshop Week we will have two great incentives for you to drop in. First, we’ll be offering 10% off all Bibles all week. Second, we will have a draw for a “mystery box” of at least 10 books. You can be entered for the draw with every purchase of books, cards or Christian gifts you make in the week from 5th – 9th October and the winning ticket will be
drawn at 2pm on Friday 9th.
The Vine is Covid Secure for customers. We have a lovely outside seating area as well as well spaced tables indoors if you want to stop for coffee and cake while you are with us!
