Anyone for tea room? Bradgate Park looking to fill catering vacancy
BRADGATE Park is looking to employ someone to run its tea room.
Bosses at the Bradgate Park Trust are offering to pay a starting annual salary of almost £22,500 to run the Deer Barn Tea Room.
The position of catering supervisor will mean working 37 hours a week (including weekends and bank holidays) and could entail more hours in the summer months.
The job specification states: “As Bradgate Park Trust’s catering supervisor, the role is responsible for the Deer Barn Tea Room and all casual and seasonal Bradgate Park tearoom staff.
“You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the highest quality of hospitality and delivering customer service, across seven days a week and bank holidays, serving customers efficiently with food and drink orders and taking payments.
“The park is used by thousands of people daily and the tearoom is a community hub where people can meet, relax and refresh.
“As a busy site, catering supervisor requires excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible attitude and the ability to manage and develop services as part of the Bradgate Park
Trust team.
“The trust is seeking an experienced catering supervisor with at least two years experience running a customer-facing service.”
At the moment, tea rooms are allowed to be open for takeaway only under the new national lockdown rules.
