A new cafe looks set to open soon in Hinckley town centre in part of a former nightclub.

Signs have gone up on a property in Regent Street for Addylline Cafe, and jobs are being advertised.

The cafe will be based in unit 1a of the prominent High Cross Building. Having been a nightclub for many years, the building was divided into three retail units - the other two of which are now occupied by Benito’s Mexican restaurant and Forever Sun tanning salon.

According to the cafe’s Facebook page, Addylline will offer meals and desserts as well as hot and cold drinks. A poster in the window says that the new venture is looking for staff, with experienced chefs and waitresses being sought.

Addylline was also advertising for chefs on website Gumtree. It says it is looking for chefs that have knowledge of food production methods, work well in a team, speak English at a high level, are creative, organised, have good communication skills, and are responsible and punctual.

Additionally, chefs need to be available to work full-time and work overtime if there is an event, with the extra hours being paid. According to the job advert, it is preferable that those interested in the role have level 2 food hygiene, a diploma in cookery and food safety certificates.

According to the poster in the cafe window, applicants can also send their CV via email to addyllineltd@gmail. com
