Boss aims for 30 acts of kindness this year
A BUSINESSMAN is aiming to carry out 30 ‘Acts of Kindness’ this year to celebrate three decades of success for his award-winning company.
Adrian Burr, chairman of Market Bosworth-based developers Springbourne Homes, wants to mark the firm’s 30th anniversary by supporting unsung heroes and good causes in the local community.
He founded the business with his father James in 1993 and has seen the firm flourish and earn an enviable reputation for delivering quality homes in stunning locations.
Adrian explained: “At Springbourne Homes we have always strived to ‘Do The Right Thing’ and that has really paid off for us over the years.
“So we decided to apply the same motto to our 30th anniversary celebrations and do the right thing by supporting our local communities.
“We want to help those most in need in these difficult times as well as highlight those individuals and organisations that do so much within our communities.
“We’re looking to carry out 30 Acts of Kindness throughout 2023 and are now busy compiling a list of the deserving cases we’d like to help this year.
“We’re open to suggestions too so, if anyone wants to nominate a local charity, a worthy cause or an unsung hero in the community then please get in touch with us at Springbourne Homes as soon as possible.”
It’s set to be a busy 2023 for Springbourne with the Market Bosworth business putting the finish touches to its flagship Hornsey Rise site in Wellsborough,
near Sibson, which has scooped four national awards.
Springbourne is then set to begin construction of 29 new luxury homes in a countryside setting just south of Melton Mowbray.
They’ve also gained planning permission for the construction of eight luxury homes at The Coppice in Burbage, near Hinckley, and for a stunning
bespoke residence in the heart of Cornish fishing village, Port Isaac home of the popular Doc Martin TV series.
