Caffe Carluccio’s confirms jobs are on offer at new hub

- By BECKY JONES Reporter

Hinckley shoppers will soon be able to enjoy a new dining experience as the town’s Sainsbury’s supermarket is set to welcome a Restaurant Hub.

As reported earlier this year, the new feature will give customers the chance to enjoy food from a number of different brands - all in one place.

There are already a number of hubs around the country, and they are operated by the Boparan Restaurant Group in partnership with Sainsbury’s.

The brands on offer in Hinckley will be Caffe Carluccio’s, Harry Ramsden’s and Ed’s Easy Diner and now Caffe Carluccio’s is recruiting staff for the new site.

The roles are for ‘back of house team members’ who, according to the job advert, will assist with everything back of house from the storage, preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food to maintaining standards of excellence around cleaning and safety.

The advert says: “Along with your team, you’ll ensure that all food is served to brand standard and that only the absolute best reaches our customers. Maintaining strict health and hygiene standards is a must, and you’ll also play a key role in ensuring our Restaurant Hub looks amazing all day every day!”

The new cafe will be open from 8am until 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and from 10am until 3.30pm Sunday.

Wages will range from £7.71 to £10.73 an hour, according to the job details, with part-time and fulltime positions available.

Employee benefits will include a 50 per cent discount on food across all Boparan brands, a ‘refer a friend’ bonus scheme, discounts at online and high street retailers and restaurants, 28 days holiday and training and development opportunities. You can apply for one of the roles via the recruitment website.
