this signal was sent by adolf hitler to inspire his besieged troops at Stalingrad on 26 november 1942. although the document is supposedly signed by hitler himself, the actual signature was written by Chief wehrmacht adjutant General rudolf Schmundt. “You must in all circumstan­ces hold the Stalingrad position,” hitler told his beleaguere­d troops in the signal.
