KIEV OFFENSIVE
An operation that is sometimes considered the real beginning of the war, this offensive sees Polish-ukrainian forces invade Bolshevik-held territory in modern Ukraine. The goal is to create an independent Ukraine, but it results in a large counteroffensive by Soviet forces.
