TURKS ASSAIL SOUTH WALL

The Ottoman commander shifts the majority of his siege guns overland to the south side of the fortress to bombard the south walls. The siege guns are gradually advanced closer to the walls in zig-zag covered trenches. The heavy guns succeed in demolishing part of the wall near the southeast corner.
