CAESAR’S CIVIL WAR

Caesar and his supporters fight the Roman Senate for control of the Roman Republic. Fought across the Mediterran­ean basin, Caesar wins the war and becomes Dictator perpetuo (“Dictator for Life”). This political realignmen­t eventually results in the Roman Empire.
