PRAGUE SPRING

To prevent the Warsaw Pact from fracturing, the Soviet Union once again intervenes and defeats a revolt in a member state. As the Red Army cracks down on protesters in Czechoslovakia, thousands flee the country and settle in Western Europe. Although NATO doesn’t intervene, the events help shape regular large-scale military exercises such as Reforger.
