Garden Party & Political Awards

The Holyrood Garden Party and Political Awards has already become an unmissable fixture in the Scottish political calendar for politicians, their staff, political journalists, the business community, and the public affairs sector. As Scotland rebuilds, this is an opportunity to bring back some joy into all our lives and celebrate all that we love about politics. Held on Thursday, 15 September in the gorgeous surroundings of the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh, this is an evening of fun, irreverence and, frankly, not taking ourselves too seriously. While winning an award is always a serious business for those that win, for the rest of us the fun can be in the nominating. So, nominations for this year’s Holyrood Political Awards are NOW OPEN. A longlist will be given to our prestigious judging panel, who will whittle the nominations down to a shortlist of three in each category and the winner will be announced on the night.
