After an editorial in The Economist said Liz Truss’ grip on power had the same shelf-life as a lettuce, the Daily Star decided to run with the idea, setting up a live video feed of a 60p iceberg alongside a photograph of the PM to see which would wilt first. Well, we now have the answer. Perhaps some Tory MPS will back the Lettuce 4 Leader campaign.
