HOW TO WORK THIS LOOK
l Create a soft palette with a base of warm, creamy whites, then build up the colour with gentle yellows. Look out for cooler shades of yellow with green undertones, think lemon rather than mustard.
l Crisp apple green adds a soothing but slightly zingy touch that makes the look feel fresh. Use watercolour-effect prints to give the scheme texture. Foliage motifs will help to bring in the green elements.
l Ground the look with small areas of black or very dark grey. These will make the pale tones appear brighter and stop your scheme seeming too delicate or washed-out.
l Use plenty of whitewashed or blonde wood, and other natural materials too. Birch and ash finishes give a light but warm feel. Rattan and seagrass also work well with this look but use them sparingly.
