A BIT ABOUT ME

I’m Emily Edwards, 35, a medical receptionist. I Instagram interior updates @the_boho_door_at24.

I live with my partner, Kurt Myers, 26, a toolmaker, and our son, Spencer, one. My son, Thomas, 14, and daughter, Sophia, 12, also live here with us some of the time.

WHERE I LIVE

Our home is a four-bedroom semidetached 1990s house in Llanelli, South Wales. We’ve lived here since June 2020.

WHAT I WANTED TO CHANGE

The house was generally in good shape, but there were ugly vertical blinds and odd colours in the bedrooms. And the green kitchen wall tiles weren’t for me.

HOW I MADE IT MY OWN

I’ve updated the house with a fresh, neutral colour scheme throughout. I’ve added layers of tactile accessories and practical touches too, like extra storage pieces.

MY FAVOURITE PART

Our bedroom is my favourite room. It’s tucked away at the top of the house so it’s very peaceful and just such a big, bright space.
