WHAT I LEARNED...

I’d never had a consistent style all through my home before, but I’ve really enjoyed pulling it together. It makes it easier to move things around and the house definitely feels calmer and more comfortable.

I shop the high street a lot, but I’ve recently discovered some fantastic, independent makers on places like Instagram and Etsy. The products are usually great value, beautifully made and packaged, and unique.

If you’re buying furniture online, think about how you’ll get it into the room. I bought a lovely wicker chair for the bedroom, on Facebook Marketplace, but we couldn’t get it up the stairs.
