9 STOCK UP ON FUEL
If you have a wood-burning stove at home, make sure you have plenty of dry fuel to last you through the winter. Either order in a delivery of logs from your local supplier, or give yourself a workout by cutting your own. Remember logs burn best if the wood has been seasoned or kiln dried. Keep your logs dry and close to hand by stacking them in a log store close to your back door.
