Award-winning artist and designer Margo Selby has joined forces with Hillarys to create an exclusive collection of Roman blinds and curtains to turn your window dressings into style statements.
Throughout her career Margo has collaborated with popular high street brands and exhibited at galleries and museums across the UK. Margo is the 2021 Turner Lecturer and recipient of the Turner Medal, and is in the process of renovating her own home. With over 20 years of textile industry experience and inspiration from her own renovation journey, Margo has designed a range that marries mid-century patterns with modern tastes to give your window treatments an opulent update.
Conceived with the modern interior in mind, Margo brings her unique style to this contemporary collection of luxurious woven designs. Crisp motifs, bold graphics and large-scale repeat patterns contrast with sumptuous textures including velvet, jacquard, linen and damask, with the quality you’d expect from Hillarys.
Soothing blues, mustard yellows and bottle greens are the key colours within the collection, which complement the richness of the carefully crafted fabrics. Add a bolt of energy to a neutral scheme with the large-scale circles of the Stella Mustard Roman blind, or ramp up the wow factor of a maximalist room with Wave full-length curtains. Blackout lining in a range of colours is available too, which will give a contrasting edge when the curtains are tied back. Choose between Peacock, Mineral, Dockyard, Chimney, Indigo and Pewter. All of the patterns can be made into co-ordinating cushions too, to create matching accessories for a reading nook or cosy bedspread.
