DARK DRAMA

When we first moved into the house, the dining room had magnolia walls with dated floral wallpaper. We wanted to go for dark and glam with a rustic feel thrown in, and this delicious, moody look features a lot throughout the house. As renters we’re conscious of keeping projects to a budget. We cladded the walls with pallet wood and painted the walls with an almost black, economical paint. We then accessorised with lots of gold accents and green plants, creating a sumptuous but cosy-feeling family room.
