HOW TO… repair a hole in the wall

-

1 Lay down a dust sheet below where you’re working. Using a Stanley knife, open up the hole a little and smooth the edges. If your hole is quite deep, dilute PVA in water and paint the solution into the hole. Once dry, clean the surrounding wall with diluted sugar soap.

2 Using Seriously Good Filling the Knife, apply a quality filler to the hole. Add the filler to the hole using the curved blade of the filling knife. If the hole is deep, you may need to add several layers of filler. For a smooth finish on the top layer, wet the blade before running across the wall.

3 Once the filler has cured, use some Ultimate Fine Aluminium Oxide to gently sand the filler until smooth. Clean the surface with a Seriously Good Microfibre

Cloth. Once dry, paint the wall with your chosen paint using the Seriously Good 4-inch Roller.
