‘ This is a hard-working room as I use it as an office too. Having it separate from the kitchen has worked well. During lockdown, when Rudy was being home-schooled, he could work in here while Arlo played in the living room. We ripped up the carpet and put down cheap laminate floor as a quick fix when we first moved in, though now it’s down I like it. I already had my heart set on the Palm Jungle wallpaper from Cole & Son for a feature wall, so we chose Farrow & Ball’s Teresa’s Green to go with it. All the furniture in here is either second-hand or upcycled. I only started painting furniture during lockdown, and I love the way it’s creating unique spaces in my home.’
