Gin glasses

Size adhesive

Gold leaf Paintbrushes Dishwasher-safe varnish

1First ensure that the glasses are completely clean, dry and free of any dirt or grease.

2Apply a thin layer of size adhesive to the bottom section of the glasses, and leave to go tacky and clear in appearance. 3Carefully lay a sheet of gold leaf over the tacky areas, and use a soft dry brush to press it in place and also rub off any excess leaf. 4Work around the glasses, completely covering the tacky areas, and then leave to dry. 5Apply a coat of dishwasher-safe varnish to protect the gold leaf before using.
