Q How long does cooked turkey last in the fridge and what’s the best way to store it?

A Paul Kelly, turkey farmer for KellyBronze, says...

Refrigerators tend to remove moisture from the products within, so it is absolutely critical that you cover your turkey well to avoid it going dry and preserve the eating quality. The very simple and easy way is to wrap it in cling film, tin foil or anything else that is not permeable. It can be frozen in the same way, as long as all the meat is totally covered. Turkey meat will last for seven days fresh and up to three months frozen. Personally, I think any meat eaten at fridge temperature does not do it justice. I always suggest leaving a bit of time to allow the meat to come up to room temperature before eating.
