WHAT I LEARNED...

-

Things don’t need to be perfect. Some of the edges on our panelling may not exactly align, but I realised that when it was filled and painted, no one could notice any slight imperfections.

It’s okay to wait. We used most of our budget buying our home, so we had to save to do the bigger jobs, like the bathroom. This gave me time to hone my ideas rather than rushing into a design that might date.

I used to be scared to be too daring, but after painting the walls blue and then black, I realised that nothing needs to be permanent.

This helped me be more confident with my style and design choices.
