‘When we moved in, the ceiling was covered in Artex. When that came down and the rewiring was done, Matt took a photo of the joists, so we knew exactly where to place the hook for the hanging chair. It was originally just for a bit of fun, but it’s so relaxing sitting here. It’s the perfect place to sit and chat while the other is cooking and all our friends always want to sit on it.’
