‘ This room was a work in progress for a few years, as I just couldn’t get it right. It always felt like a bit of a dumping ground as we just came in to use the wardrobes. I’d seen the half wall idea on Instagram and used Little Greene’s Tuscan Red. When I finished it, I felt like something else was needed, so I added an extra line above to give it a 70s retro edge.’

Emily painted the IKEA wooden bench black to match the mirror, bed and picture frames and added a cushion from H&M Home. The map prints are from Not On The High Street
