A BIT ABOUT ME

I’m Elizabeth Dalton, a pharmacist. I live here with my husband, Mark, a farmer and college lecturer, and our three children, Charlie, eight, Tilly, five, and Annie, four. You can find me on Instagram @blowyinthewind

WHERE I LIVE

Our home is a three-bed cottage just outside Fintona in County Tyrone. We’ve owned the house for 10 years.

WHAT I WANTED TO CHANGE

Every room needed work. It hadn’t been lived in for years, so it needed a complete overhaul, including new heating, plumbing, electrics… pretty much everythingfl

HOW I MADE IT MY OWN

I introduced a mix of vintage and preloved furniture, colourful textiles, botanical prints and lots of houseplants and flowers.

MY FAVOURITE PART

The open-plan kitchen dining and living area. It’s a really family-friendly space and it’s definitely the heart of the house.
