WHAT I LEARNED...

-

A renovation project, especially if you’re doing it yourself, takes time and patience, but it’s worth it in the end. Use your time wisely to figure out what you really want for your home and then shop around for the best bargains you can find.

Recycle as much as possible. I found pieces in the sheds, charity shops and auctions. I also got my family to keep an eye out for pieces if I needed something in particular.

Buying preloved items and revamping them is a fantastic way of putting your own stamp on your home and making it unique. Often, all you need is a tin of paint to give it a refresh.
