Spare room

‘ The beams and stone were already revealed and restored in here when we moved in, which I loved, even though the room is quite rustic and has a different feel to the rest of the house. I wanted to give it my own stamp, so I painted the wall behind the sofa green and the woodwork, including the window frame, pink. I’m happy to do the decorating as I find it therapeutic and a form of escapism. The blanket box belonged to my Nana. It was originally dark brown but I painted it.’
