‘ Tami liked the idea of having panelling, so I decided on the half-wall effect. To save some time I went to B&Q and got pre-cut wood, then simply glued it on, and painted it. The wood didn’t take the glue very well, and started coming away the very next day, so I had to get a nail gun and start again by sanding and repainting it. It took a week to do in the end, but it was worth it as I’m really pleased with the final look and Tami loves it.’
