Make the look... ROPE BASKET

Whether you want an extra plant pot or stylish storage options, like Dami, this easy on-trend make has got you covered

-

You will need

● sisal rope ● glue gun ● masking tape ● paint ● paintbrush

1Wrap and neatly stick the sisal rope in a coil using the glue gun. Continue until the coil is around 20cm diameter, or smaller/bigger, if you prefer.

2Build up the outside of the basket by coiling and gluing the rope around several times, keeping the sides as straight as possible. Once you have glued enough rope to your desired basket height, cut the end with scissors and glue it to the last coil.

3Cut two pieces of rope measuring 30.5cm in length to make looped handles. Glue the ends of each inside the top of the basket on opposite sides and then leave to dry.

4Mask off a band around the base of the basket, and the handles, with masking or Frog tape, and paint in a bright colour of your choice. Leave to dry thoroughly before putting on display.
