A BIT ABOUT US

We are Leila Davis, 26 (pictured left), a pole performer, instructor and manager of a pole dancing studio, and Fleur Finch (right), 25, a community engagement officer for a national LGBTQ charity.

WHERE WE LIVE

Our home is a rented one-bedroom Victorian flat conversion in South East London. We moved here in July 2019, and we share our interiors journey on Instagram @casa_de_modelei.

WHAT WE WANTED TO CHANGE

After spending a year saving, it was important for us to finally create a home that would reflect both of our personalities. Luckily, this flat was a newly converted blank canvas, so we didn’t have to fight against previous owners’ décor or taste before adding our own style.

HOW WE MADE IT OUR OWN

While Fleur introduced her love of colour and vintage furniture to the space, Leila concentrated on making the space work with clever small-space hacks and creative storage solutions.

OUR FAVOURITE PART

For Leila, it’s got to be the striking colour they put together in the living room. Fleur loves the elegant dressing table in the bedroom as it’s a reminder of a fun lockdown project that the couple did together.
