Master bedroom

The new bed from Oak Furnitureland, with bedding from Bedfolk, ties in with the timeless country-style look that runs through the house. Ruth and Alex spent a weekend panelling one of the walls and painted it a deep pink, Blush by Little Greene. ‘We prepared it properly, did all the measurements several times, bought the wood from B&Q and just went for it and it’s turned out pretty well,’ says Ruth. The couple wanted the bedroom to feel calm, so they painted the other walls in China Clay, also by Little Greene. Ruth has finished the space with vases of dried flowers, candles and some very sweet soft toys for a personal touch.
