Nailing woodwork

-

Painting woodwork can be an intricate process but with the right tools you can achieve a polished result. The Harris Ultimate range of woodwork brushes includes flat, round and angled brushes for flat surfaces, curves and spindles; for really tricky areas Harris has triangular and angled brushes too. As with walls, it’s essential to prep first. Lightly sand with Ultimate Fine Sandpaper to remove the top layer. If there’s thick paint or damage, use a Harris Essentials Brush to apply paint stripper, then use a little elbow grease with the Ultimate Super Scraper and Ultimate Combination Shave Hook. For a flawless result on skirting boards use the Ultimate Angled Gloss Brush following the grain of the wood. The Ultimate Angled Brush head cuts in at the top of a skirting board or edge of a window frame, providing the finest possible finish. Lightly brush to finish (known as ‘laying off’) for a glass-like result.
