BEAT THE SQUEEZE
Always mindful of the shopper on a budget, supermarket giant Aldi has teamed up with TV nutritionist Lily Soutter to devise a food plan to feed a family of four for under £30 a week. The focus of the plan is to swap out fresh for frozen without losing nutritional value and Lily has set out to devise a weekly plan and top tips for making affordable meals that are high in health benefits. Dishes include king prawn fish pie (see photo left), pesto chicken traybake and plant sausages with mustardy mash. Joining this campaign to help those struggling with the cost of living crisis is food blogger and influencer Cardiff Mum, who has really put the plan to the test by making five meals for £25.
