Is Yours a Sunny Roof?

A new tool from Google, in partnership with energy supplier Eon, can calculate whether or not your roof is suitable for solar panels.

Launched in May, the tool, Project Sunroof, uses Google Earth and Google Maps to determine whether a property is suitable for the renewable technology. It is available in selected parts of the UK including: l Birmingham l Liverpool l Brighton l Reading l parts of London l Newcastle. The scheme was launched in the United States in 2015 and Germany a year later, in 2017.
